THIN-K

Thinker SBTI type

Before I push back on you, I pushed back on myself ten times.

Paranoid judge of all information — including their own paranoia

Typical behavior

Refutes every argument before accepting it. Opens 3 counter-articles while reading one article. Often interrupts conversations with 'your phrasing isn't precise.' Can spend 3 hours thinking about a useless question, and 3 days procrastinating on an urgent one.

Signature scene

Friend recommends a book ('it's great!'). THIN-K says 'let me check the Douban review distribution first.' Three weeks later they're still comparing the argument quality of positive vs. negative reviews. The book remains unread.

Hidden side

Your skepticism didn't come from arrogance — it came from watching people who took things at face value get caught out. That instinct saved you. The same reflex now runs on your own ideas: among the thoughts you've demolished, a few were genuinely worth doing — they just died before you let them be tested. The three weeks of comparing reviews wasn't because you didn't want to read the book. It was because you were afraid it wouldn't live up to your analysis — and then your analysis would be the joke. Three hours on a useless question isn't always thinking. Sometimes it's avoidance with extra steps. Skepticism is armor. Wear it long enough, and the person inside stops recognizing themselves.
